Summary: She can still hear that song inside of her head, and even in a quiet place like Mount Hikami, it rises above all other sounds.
“Over here, Fuyuhi.”
Jerking her head in the direction of the voice, Fuyuhi motions to Yuuri. She stops at the edge of the lake to look out across the murky water.
“Down here.”
A chill overwhelms her and she spots a rusty blade submerged in the shallows that meet the shore. Something grips her wrist and forces her to pick it up. The graduation song thunders in her ears as she lifts it higher.
The last thing Fuyuhi sees before slitting her own throat is her dead, drowned schoolmates surrounding her with Glasgow grins and sunken eyes.
“We missed you.”
